This project explores our approach to product visualization through a carefully reduced architectural setting where form, color, and material become the central focus. Created by VISUAL3D, the series was developed to present a contemporary upholstered chair collection in a clear and refined way, allowing each variation to be understood through proportion, surface detail, and composition rather than through excessive staging.

The visual concept is built around restraint. A minimal concrete backdrop, soft controlled lighting, and generous negative space create an environment that supports the furniture without distracting from it. Within this setting, the chair becomes the main visual subject, and the differences between silhouettes, upholstery tones, and material behavior can be observed with clarity.

Particular attention was given to the textile surfaces and how they respond to light across multiple colorways. The rendering process focused on preserving the character of the woven upholstery through subtle tonal transitions, fine surface texture, and realistic softness at the edges and curves of the form. Close-up views were used to reveal the material more directly, showing how the fabric interacts with the geometry of the chair and how color depth changes depending on angle, light, and proximity.

The project also explores variation as part of the presentation. Rather than showing a single object in isolation, the collection is visualized through multiple finishes and viewpoints, allowing the design language of the chair to remain consistent while the mood shifts through color and arrangement. This approach helps communicate both the identity of the product and the flexibility of its visual presentation.

Alongside the material focus, the series demonstrates our interest in clean product staging. The space was intentionally kept minimal so that the relationship between object and surface remains precise and controlled. The result is a calm visual language that supports design communication across different formats, from digital presentations and catalogs to websites and broader brand imagery.

Through this project, VISUAL3D demonstrates its approach to furniture and product CGI with an emphasis on textile realism, thoughtful composition, and clear visual hierarchy. The final imagery offers a consistent and elegant way to present design objects in a manner that feels contemporary, focused, and visually cohesive.
